The ANALyst

Leverage, optimise, synergise

The ANALyst is a second year analyst at one of the world’s best known management consulting firms. After being a passive observer on the blog scene over the past year, he has finally decided to let loose, to enlighten the world about anecdotes from his profession – unedited accounts based on real-life experiences. He intends to continue to serve his current employer for another year before moving on to bigger and better things.

Update: The ANALyst has now quit his former employer in order to do some soul searching and is about to depart for an emerging economy.

  1. Hi,

Your blog is both funny and informative. I currently work in consulting in the mentioned emerging economy, so almost all things you say resonate with me. I am still wondering – what exactly do you do now? I gather that it’s something to do with tech, but, if possible, could you elaborate?

  2. Hi,

Happened to stumble upon your blog recently and read it in one go (am stuck in an airport lounge….sigh).

Very entertaining, am an ex-consultant myself (and I suspect from the same firm as you) and was amused enough to consider making you a job offer. If you are interested, contact me at the email entered into the web form. (or if it does not show up, reply here and I’ll check back the notification)

The work is easy and the pay is much(MUCH)more than you ever made at a tier I firm as a BA 🙂
You have nothing lose, so drop me a message

P.S The exponential prices of cars in “EE”ndia 😉 get on my nerves too. It is so hard to afford a decent ride 🙂
